The Academy is a pre-accelerator training and mentoring programme for start-ups and existing small businesses wanting to bring innovation to government by selling to the public sector.

Government is the biggest industry on earth and the public sector is 40% of the UK economy.

You might be starting from scratch or you might have an existing small business that is looking to sell to the public sector for the first time. Either way, our Academy programme is here to help.

We know how daunting it can be to figure out how to get your product or service into this space. Who do you talk to and where do you even start?

Designed to answer those very questions and to help you get your business/product/service ready, the GovTech Academy Accelerator is a training and business support programme focussed on selling to the public sector.

The first pilot GovTech Academy ran from Nov 2021 to April 2022 and is supported by the TEAM-SY initiative. The 2nd Cohort will run from March 2023 to May 2023.
