YouPlus is the first platform in education (In the form of a mobile application) that directly links physical activity and academic performance together. The product is sold directly to the university institution on a SaaS B2B basis, with the end user being the students.

Studies have found that the brain has an improved ability to cope with stress, analyse complex problems, retain detailed information, and analyse data after periods of regular exercise. It has also been shown to lift your mood and aid mental health. YouPlus is the first app in education to capitalise on the established scientific links between physical activity and increased brain performance.

The app encourages students to engage in brain-boosting activities ranging from walking routes to heartbeat-raising HIIT workouts, depending on their experience and confidence. Crucially, it links activity to the students’ academic schedule (lectures, exams, deadlines) to maximise the benefits of physical exercise and its impact on the brain to help improve their performance. The platform also links to mental health, well-being, and learning resources, whilst providing help and support.
