A syndicate is a group of investors that invest together in a single deal. One of these investors is the lead investor, responsible for executing a deal.

You must apply to join a lead investor's syndicate to receive their deal invites.

There are over 160 active syndicates on AngelList. To receive a sufficient number of deal invites, you must apply to 20 syndicates. If you don't apply to syndicates, you will not be invited to any deals through AngelList.
